The University of Delaware's [web/tickets] appellate board has rejected an appeal by a fraternity suspended for alcohol and safety violations, officials said Friday.
Spokesman John Brennan confirmed that the board upheld a March 15 judicial hearing decision that the Epsilon Rho chapter of Alpha Tau Omega violated the student code of conduct and will remain suspended until 2009...

More than 20,000 people expected at 40 Acres Fest

Greek life is receiving more support from Syracuse University than it has in the past few years, under the direction of Roy Baker, associate dean of students...
"What the IFC is trying to do and what Dean Baker, especially, is trying to do, is to give these houses almost a clean slate in terms of getting these houses back onto campus," VanDeWeert said. "We have to put the past in the past. That's what we did with ATO, that's what we did with PIKA and that's what we're trying to do with Psi Psi as well."
Alpha Tau Omega was recently reinstated by the university as a recognized fraternity...
